REAL Scholarships

REAL gives annual scholarships to those in the high school communities, and their local parishes, to who demonstrates strong Catholic faith, practice, and leads others to follow in our faith. 

high school Catholic youth Leadership Awards

*recognize and celebrate one person in each of the four EICS High Schools who demonstrates strong Catholic leadership in the school community.

*these annual awards are decided by the school staff at Our Lady of Mt. Pleasant (Camrose), St. Mary's High School (Vegreville), St. John Paul II (Fort Saskatchewan), and Archbishop Jordan High School (Sherwood Park). 

REAL Spirit Award

*awarded to one Catholic person in the Elk Island Catholic School District parishes who has contributed significantly to the well-being of the parish community

*the recipient will be an active and faith-filled contributor in his/her Catholic parish and have already graduated from high school.

*Nominations for this award come from the pastors of the Catholic parishes: St. Martin's (Vegreville), Our Lady of the Angels (Fort Saskatchewan), Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Sherwood Park), St. Sophia Ukrainian Catholic Parish (Sherwood Park).
